If you’ve been thinking about getting your PMP, this is the moment.

The exam is changing on 7th July.

Not dramatically in content, but in how you’re assessed. There is now a much stronger focus on scenario-based questions, decision making and real business thinking. Less memorisation, more judgement.

That’s exactly where most people struggle.

It’s not about knowing the theory it's about knowing what to do in the situation.

Common reasons people fail the PMP:

  • Over-focusing on processes instead of decisions

  • Not recognising what the question is really testing

  • Second-guessing answers due to lack of exam strategy

The good news is this can be fixed quickly with the right approach.

A few practical exam tips:

  • Always ask: What would a good project manager do first?

  • Eliminate emotional or reactive answers. PMP is structured thinking

  • Watch for keywords that signal agile vs predictive vs hybrid

  • Don’t rush. The exam rewards judgement, not speed

PMP is still the gold standard in project management, but the way you prepare matters more than ever.

That’s why I run a live, highly interactive 35-hour PMP Exam Prep course focused on:

  • Real exam-style questions

  • Decision-making practice

  • Clear strategy for tackling scenarios

  • Practical application, not just theory
