I’ve recently bought the domain ThePMPTrainer.com. I think it says exactly what I do on the tin, but I’d love to know what you think.

Does it work as a name?

Would you click on me?

This year I’ve been running many PMP training courses, both virtual and face to face. My focus is always to make them as interactive as possible, so people aren’t just listening to slides but actually learning from each other too.

I absolutely love my job, meeting interesting people, delivering the courses and hearing when people pass their exam. Plus injecting some humour into the classroom too.

For anyone thinking about PMP, here’s a quick refresher on why it’s worth the effort:

  • PMP is the gold standard in project management certification worldwide.

  • PMI’s salary survey shows PMP holders earn around 30% more than those without it. It’s not just about money, but it does show the value employers put on it.

  • To qualify for the exam, you need 35 hours of formal training (sometimes called contact hours). My courses are PMI approved, so they count.

  • The current exam is 180 questions in 230 minutes, with a strong focus on the agile mindset rather than heavy maths formulas.

  • PMI is expected to update the exam content in late 2026, so now is a good time to get in under the current version while resources and materials are stable.

I’m an Authorised Training Partner instructor, which means I can deliver the official PMI curriculum. Whether online or in person, I keep the groups interactive, practical and fun.

So, two questions for you:

  1. What do you think of the name ThePMPTrainer.com?

  2. If you’ve done your PMP, what was the biggest benefit you found afterwards? Career, salary or confidence?

If you’re considering PMP and want to chat about whether it’s right for you, please message me.
